Embattled Sen. Al Franken will make an announcement Thursday, his office told reporters, as calls for the Minnesota Democrat's resignation rapidly gained momentum Wednesday in dramatic fashion.
Twenty-three Democratic senators -- twelve female and eleven male including the second-ranking Democrat in chamber -- called on Franken to resign as allegations of sexual harassment against him continue to mount. Republican Sen. Susan Collins also called on Franken to quit.

As much as I cannot stand the democrats, they play chess well. Their chess game was first to try and get rid of Trump via the phony Russia collusion investigation. That hasn’t played out yet.
Plan B was to label and accuse Trump of being a sexual predator and start the “war on women” schtick again to pave way for Trump’s removal at the most, his defeat via their next female nominee at the least.
A funny thing happened on the way to Plan B. All the dems and their MSM friends and their Hollyweird friends turned out to be the true pervs. While they are good chess players, the dems are not good at changing strategy mid-game. Thus, they now have to (reluctantly and as little as possible) clean out the low hanging fruit in their own closets so that they can claim moral high ground when they activate (re-activate, really) plan B.
The second that Al Franken is gone it is time to cue Gloria Allred.

Thanks people - we have to get INSIDE THEIR HEADS if we’re ever going to defeat them.
Their priority now is STOPPING THE SENATE - that scares the hell out of them because if Trump is given 3 more years to replace judges, and especially justices, their entire game plan of running this country by executive orders (basically a dictatorship) will come to a SCREECHING HALT. If Hillary had won, she would have owned the courts, and so, literally, ANYTHING SHE DID without Congress, such as making voting citizens of the 11-30 million Illegals, would have been upheld. It would have simply been game over for our side...there was NO WAY she was going to give us a way back to power, short of all out civil war.
That’s why it is SO CRITICAL that we STEP UP and fight them at THEIR LEVEL. Last weekend there was a thread asking whether we’d vote for an Axe Murderer for the Senate, if he was a Republican. My response was YES, assuming, of course, this killer would support Trump’s judges. That’s how critical this stuff is now.
He’s an evil, socialist pig; BUT, this is ridiculous.
We have to get past this political correctness crap.
Leftists do it because they are atheists with no other means of escaping (temporarily) their own misery than to project their sins/guilt on someone else.

This is really SAD! I mean the Demonrats helped Franken steal that Senate seat, fair and square!
That is HIS seat! He shouldn’t resign! He should fight! FIGHT THEM ALL, AL!
This makes no sense. The allegations against Franken are old and not that serious. There must be more that we haven’t heard about. There must be at least one really awful accusation that his colleagues have heard and haven’t told us. They don’t want that one to come out so they’re forcing him out before it hits.
