Six senators on Wednesday called on fellow Democrat Al Franken to resign, in a jaw-dropping avalanche of statements addressing the latest allegations against the Minnesota senator.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, kicked things off, publishing a post on Facebook aptly titled “Senator Franken Should Step Aside” (read here). Democratic Sens. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire, Patty Murray of Washington and Kamala Harris of California all followed suit.
This comes on the heels of yet another woman coming forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against Franken, which he has denied as “categorically not true.”
Gillibrand’s Facebook statement says that while she has considered Franken a friend, “this moment of reckoning about our friends and colleagues who have been accused of sexual misconduct is necessary, and it is painful.”
Hirono immediately followed suit, publishing a thread on Twitter explaining her decision:

Not to mention his molestation of a box of fake ballots.
Appears the Dems have adopted the strategy of getting rid of Conyers and Franken before the Alabama Senate election, using the “see, they’re gone...you can’t elect Moore” argument.
Of course the Dems are frauds since both of these seats are safely Democrat, so they’re not really sacrificing anything.
Don’t fall for this Alabama! Vote for Moore.
Besides, these Dems are guilty and Moore has been falsely accused.

This started as the Left's gambit to take down Judge Moore. But it has only made Judge Moore stronger, while knocking down rows of Leftist blowhards like rows of dominoes.

The harpy gynocracy will not be satisfied until they have every male on the planet castrated.
This tells me polling has Roy Moore way ahead. When he wins this turn against Franken will be used to try and force Republicans NOT to seat him.
Schadenfreude can be fun for a while, but one really has to be a little concerned that we’re heading into witch hunt territory.
The republicans cannot NOT seat him. If he is elected, he is seated.
They are willing to throw Franken under the bus, knowing full well they will keep a Dem seat in the Senate.
All they are doing is making way for blue-state Republicans to get the boot and be replaced with a Dem
Looks like what Franken has been doing is par for the course.
This is to put the pressure on President Trump to resign because of all the allegations make against him.
My bet is that Franken has been harassing female senate staffers and the Lady Senators know it!
It means the polling results tell them non-Somali whites are ready to vote for Ellison to take his seat.
That is exactly why they are coming out en masse on the the same day.
Big Deal, so he gets replaced with another Democrat.
If the Picture of Franken pretending to grab the Boobs of the sleeping Woman didn’t exist, he wouldn’t be embattled.
The obvious Yearbook Forgery is the only hard evidence (pardon the pun) they have against Judge Moore, but you would think there was a real picture of him doing something.
Constitutionally the Senate can refuse to seat him or even kick him out.
This is about enough Democrats falling on their sword, to increase the pressure on Trump to do the same.
They are Democrat, not Democratic.
