We actually did something like that when I was a kid. My grandmother bought my mom a Lladro figurine. It was a boy in a gown leaning in to plant a kiss on another figurine. I assume the match was supposed to be a girl. We called it my mom’s little faggot doll (it was the 80’s so deal with it snowflakes)

One day she came home and realized her little Lladro was dead. She found it hanging from the ceiling with a noose around its neck, blindfolded with a tiny cigarette in its mouth.

It was apparently quite an expensive piece and she wasn’t too thrilled with my brother and I but...

My wife and her family collect LLadros. They have been in her family for many years. They are expensive and very fragile.
