A group of prominent lawyers representing teachers and students from poor performing schools sued California on Tuesday, arguing that the state has done nothing about a high number of schoolchildren who do not know how to read.

But that’s what the dems in power in CA want! The last thing the dems want is to have educated subjects. Remember, slave owners didn’t allow their slaves to be educated, because that makes them ill suited to stay enslaved.
And the modern dem party is just keeping their tradition alive.

All over the country the teachers are suing the state because they have failed to teach students to read and blame the state for not doing anything about it?
No, but all over the country, students aren’t learning to read, and teachers say it’s not their fault. This lawsuit in California is probably the first of many.
It’s not just Cali, and not new. My youngest is 35, when he was in 1st grade we were told he was Learning Disabled in Math and Reading.
Solution: Dick and Jane style books and a PADDLE. Hubby wrote a DOS program on the old Comodore 64 for Math flash cards, and a hand to the bottom. In 6 weeks grades went from D’s to A/B’s in both subjects.
He still hates to read. And that was the only problem not a disability that would have had him in Spec Ed with more money for the school. But he does know how to read and do math.
