I’ve seen lots of dogs chase cars, always wondered what they’d do if they caught one.

Decades ago my dad had a BIG German Shepherd whose battle with a car resulted in a draw.........Damn dog was lucky it wasn't killed.......LOL!

Now that I remember, dad's dog wasn't chasing a car but rather headed for an encounter with another male dog 75 yards away and the car just happened to be driving by.........

Zarek was the best damn family protector one could ever have, great with kids, great with family and great with recognized friends of the family.

But boy, when it came to other dogs, Zarek was a major Alpha dog and all he wanted to do was fight.......

I knew a guy in high school that would bolt a gunny sack to a rear wheel on his car with one of the lug nuts. He’d drive down a road with the sack flapping. If a dog came out and gave chase, many times he would bite the sack and be sent tumbling.

Rather cruel but very funny.

:)

You have got to see the episode of the King of Queens where Doug and Carrie are discussing their highschool experiences. Doug says, I'm Ferris Beuller and you're his angry sister! LOL!

Anyway, got to get to sleep but I love that movie; grew up in Chicago. ;)

Take care, FRiend. :)

I have never watched much of that show but I like the episode I saw where Doug goes to a group saying he eats because she’s angry at him all the time. It was hilarious.

We once had a Chow Chow, who,at twelve weeks old, attacked our adult black Lab. Merly -- short for Merlin --once got out of the house and attacked a St. Bernard.

He was aggressive around people. We tried everything, training, doggie antidepressants, etc; three different vets said we should put him down.

He then snapped at my son, eighteen months at the time.

When I was flying to Chicago for my Mom's funeral, I had to get kennel shots. I gave our Lab the bordatella ... but I chose a different shot for Merly

I held him as he passed. One of the hardest things ever. But I had a little boy. I think my Mom wanted me to protect my son.

Doggie ping, Joe :)

LOL! “So you’re saying it’s her fault that I eat too much.” You should watch some more episodes. Nothing like comedy to take your mind off of things. :)

Take care, FRiend. :)

It’s number 33...Why read the original article? This is FreeRepublic. LOL

Need to send in a donation; my black Lab chewed my credit card, but I can still read the numbers. ;)
