I was starting to get a bad feeling about how they have mucked it up but need to see more of what's in and out.. Schedule A (itemizing) is a mainstay of homeowners which include more than just the middle class, and to think Susan Collins wouldn't sign on unless they put back in the mortgage deduction but then capped it at 10K is a terrible irony.

It's beginning to look to me like whatever we have is only because the shadowy "they" have allowed it, and no matter who is in charge, little by little or in leaps and bounds, they are skimming off the money for themselves.

It's obvious both major parties use their base to get in power and pursue their own agenda, bought and paid for by wealthy donors and lobbyists, not the middle class #deplorables which people they pander to.

In regard to my #68, nobody called me on it, but I said 10K mortgage deduction (I know it's the interest) but the 10K is a capped property tax deduction introduced I thought by Susan Collins.

Also there is a back door capital gains tax on equities in one of the versions.
