Not really. They just put a hold on the lower court’s injunction until they get a chance to hear the case. There’s nothing to keep them from hearing it and deciding the lower courts were right. (Though the vote on this issue makes it clear that at the moment only the two dissenters think that’s true)
There was nothing to keep them from vacating the lower courts unconstitutional edicts on the spot. They didn't. goron
