JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Former U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown will spend five years in federal prison for her role in a federal corruption conspiracy that involved stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from a fake education charity for needy children.

Bye!
In his sentencing order, [District Judge Timothy] Corrigan explained that he “seriously considered” honoring the request for probation, but that in the end he didn’t think that would be appropriate for her crimes.
“A sentence of probation for a member of Congress convicted of 18 counts involving mail, wire, and tax fraud would not be sufficient,” Corrigan wrote. “While I do not relish the prospect of incarcerating Ms. Brown at her relatively advanced age, she has given the court no other option because she chose to commit these serious crimes at a relatively advanced age.
Probably 18 months.
Unless she were to write a tell-all book about Hillary .... or send some of the DNC’s emails to Wikileaks.....
Look for her hospitalization due to stress today
This is what the NFL players should be protesting about. Hillary skates, while black politicians go to jail. This lack of fairness is something I could agree with.
That looks like it could be a scene photo from Sanford and Son.
I’m surprised she’s smart enough to draw breath without help. This speaks volumes to the voters who put her in office. Still, the first prize still has to go to Congressman Hank Johnson who argued in a Congressional hearing that if we put more troops on Guam, Guam runs the risk of “tipping over”. Right. They (the media) sounded both perplexed and doubtful when they heard about it.
Of course, people like you and I have recognized this for decades, but to them, well, they live in their little bubbles...:)
She will be hospitalized a few days before they schedule her incarceration...
You mean like this?

Corrigan is a Boosh II appointee.
And we wonder why Congress doesn’t get stuff done.
Yeah, I worried for years that Ole Hank would procreate with Maxine Waters. Now she’s past the time when she can “drop any human crap” on the country.

I’m in a public location with FNN on TV. You’d never know this happened.
any perp walk footage?
That’s probably why Brown only got 5 years.
On second thought, the fact that the sentencing judge is a Bush appointee will be a perfect angle for the media: “Hard working, elderly African-American Congresswoman cruelly sentenced to five years hard time in a federal prison by a Republican-appointed judge.”
You know they’re going to run with it!
