I have found that most gub mint employees look at the calender and clock and continually stare at it until they retire.
That is so true. I call on city municipal water and wastewater plants. It seems that 70% of them can tell you their time left to retirement down to the number of days.
I’ve never understood that. If you dislike your job that much why not find something different.
That’s true of government “workers” at any level of government: city, state, fed. They are zombies. If you expect them to work competently, you are their enemy.
