You can TRY to squeeze that toothpaste back into the tube but it will still leak on out again.
Believe me, I worked at Auburn University for 20 years.
It’s mostly the fault of the alumni and their donations and big money.
Older alumni want to relive their glory days when life was simple and their school and its team was all that mattered.
Younger alumni want their kids to go to “their” school and experience those happy winning days. I can tell you that more than half of the rivalry among Alabamians between the Tide and the Tigers is all about where Mom and Dad went to school. My town is 30 miles from Auburn and decidedly pro-Auburn. It’s been a little weak these past few years but really came out this week! AU flags everywhere, LOL!
As an Alabamian that has to visit liberal areas of the country all the time, I’m just happy to see the Crystal Trophy in my state. Gives me something to brag on when the jokes about marrying my sister, having one tooth, driving a pickup and living in a single-wide while pumping a bible comes up.
Anyway, the alumni are the ones making certain their school has a winning coach and will beg, borrow, cajole, force, power-thru or bribe the school into all of it’s football traditions.
There you go again trolling me. We don't know what investigations are ongoing since the DOJ cannot confirm or deny their existence.
The hypocrisy is incredible, since there was little evidence of a crime before Muellers SC was setup. As Trumps recent tweets are saying, this is obviously a double standard, if not outright corruption on full display.
The FBI began its investigation of the Trump campaign's alleged collusion with Russia in July 2016. Trump was told three times by Comey that he was not the subject of an investigation. We were led to believe that this was a counterintelligence investigation to determine the extent of Russian involvement in our elections. The investigation by the FBI continued into Trump's transition team after the election.
Collusion is not a crime. It never was and still is not. This is all manufactured by the Obama administration and Deep State. They want to overturn an election. The real scandal is that we had a President using the resources of the intelligence community to attack and discredit a political opponent. It attacks the very foundation of our Republic. Where is the outrage from the Reps? It is not there save for a few people. The GOPe is not going to protect Trump and prefer to let him twist slowly in the wind.
That there's a little "inside baseball" Larri.
Just what, or who, do you think he is a spy for?
Fightin' words!!!
Accompanied by disgusting fresh air.
Right, ok.
He’s been in military intelligence since he was a Second Looey right out of ROTC.
Did you know that James Clapper was also the Director of DIA at one time? Thank God I didn’t work for him.
I did work for General Mike Hayden who wound up as Director of the NSA and then CIA. Both of them turned out to be NEVER TRUMPERs. Spit.
Looking for video of this
Feeling the love, but he's actually a carpetbagger from Virginia.
Not much better than Mexafornia.
Except they don't have a Paul "Trump" LePage for governator.
MOst likely NSA.
Good sources,also see post#140.
Yeah its a different world at the top.
thanks for thread AB and to everyone for comments.
My wifi time is limited and Sunday AM is devoted to posting the weekly Dose. I get to come here with the extra time... HA.. This morning HTML Gods deemed it appropriate to give me a very hard time & it took 4 hours.
Lurking and learning always good.. most folk here have good insight and observation. Thanks!
You gotta admit with King and Collins as Senators Maine has some serious problems......
Great to hear from you Dolly
Thanks
You know, here's what gets me about this.
Trump's a smart guy, and so is Flynn.
I think that if they both know this to be truth, there would be more of an outcry from them.
Certainly if I was Flynn I'd be crowing and talking about this EVERYWHERE, EVERYDAY. I would go on any and every show, blog, podcast, etc., etc. and tell EVERYONE how I was being railroaded for political reasons, and how using national intelligence to "get" political advantage was poison to the country and treason. Only a sniper could take me out.
But now he'll probably do some jail time in Club Fed at the best, and lose his shirt financially.
So, is there some kind of stratergery going on behind the scenes the rest of us are not privy to? That is what makes me doubt the Mueller works for Trump behind the scenes idea. The stakes are very high for these people.
Maybe that's why I only got to E-8 while he got to O-9...
A spy for whom? DIA is part of the intel community. NSA and the CIA are also "spy" agencies.
Require it, demand a publicly posted eligibility-GPA, make them debate each other, and give lectures on science and technologies during halftime.
