You are assuming these Democrat front-groups are conventional media outlets as existed decades ago. They are not.
And, is ABC going to reimburse all of those folks whose 401k took such a beating over their lies on Friday?
We watch the local ABC News and often the first few minutes of ‘What did Trump Do Wrong Today’, aka ABC Nightly NEWS.
It’s disgusting the way they slant the news. Brian Ross comes across with this authoritarian voice and mannerisms leading viewers to conclude he is infallible.

Every American ought to be ashamed of what we’ve become. I went to high school in the early eighties. In government/civics class we talked about the propaganda and censorship being practiced by the media in then Soviet Russia. My teacher was an old line, communist hating Democrat. Yes, at one time there were still many people with a D by their name who were proud of this country. He assured what was happening in Soviet Russia and what had occurred with the media in Nazi Germany would never happen here. I’m glad he’s not alive now to see what our country has become thanks mostly to members of his own party!

Who else at ABC was involved? Did this guy go out and acquire this report on his own? Other reporters? Editors? Producers? Was his news copy accurate and Ross read the false element into it?
If other editors and reporters were involved, they should be suspended, too. If Ross intentionally falsified the report by ad libbing from actual copy, he should be fired.
Frankly, I do not believe this suspension. I suspect a much more widespread involvement in an attempt at creating (or wishing for) an offense by PDJT. Ross is taking the fall for more folks (and probably being paid while on vacation, too. Who would even know if they kept him on payroll?)

No collusion was ever found. What Flynn was doing with contacts in other countries is legal. Flynn lied about a phone call on purpose. Now he gets to go under oath and tell everyone and everything regarding all the actual crimes he knows about, that were committed by other people. Win.

this was no “error”, it was deliberate, not unlike all the media hyped “hate-crimes” which turn out to be hoaxes. Ross and ABC wanted everyone to think that Flynn was the smoking gun in their Collusion Delusion, so they reported a deliberately FAKE NEWS story, knowing that most people would remember the lie, but few will remember that it wasn’t true.
Donald Trump Jr. slammed the news organization on Saturday for dealing "fake news" and suggested that they would not punish the reporter because "the error was adverse to @realDonaldTrump... the same error about his predecessor would have been met with real consequences."
Then the suspension announcement came later in the day along with an apology for what the outlet described then as a "serious error."
