Apparently it was not illegal for a presidential candidate to campaign abroad and meet with foreign leaders but can you imagine the uproar if Trump had done that?
I think it is best not to fix on the obviously legitimate actions of the president elect. Mueller may be looking for testimony from Flynn that could lead to an obstruction of justice charge against Mr. Trump.
