The House and Senate have both passed their bills. It's all over now but the crying.
The two bills have to go to Conference - or not. There is talk of Ryan simply allowing the passed Senate bill to go to the House floor for a vote as early as next week.
Even if it goes to Conference - there is going to be a bill along the framework that is in both of them - and at this point the bills are very, very similar. Both of them cut the corporate rate and send the tab to the middle class by destroying or capping our deductions.

No you aren’t! I’m not upset with you, I am pi$$ed at you for being childish. Good or bad, this tax “reduction” needs to happen or, we might as well tell President Trump to throw in the towel! I don’t give a rat’s a$$ whether this bill is helpful to me personally or not. It may be a lousy first step, but it IS a first step. We are where we are because a lot of stupid voters have been putting their own selfish interests ahead of the bigger interests of the country as a whole. We have a bucket of cocks in both the House and the Senate, and if we let them be taken over by the RATs one more time, this country will be gone forever. It’s just that effing simple. So take your chicken little BS and sell it somewhere else. We need this “win” in order to live to fight on, because the RATs are dead serious about Communizing this Country if they get one more shot! House & Senate bills are not the same. There will be a reconciliation between the 2 or both houses of Congress. We don’t know what the final bill will be yet.
However, the reason I'm addressing you is my dismay at your use of the English language. I always enjoy your informed and well thought out posts, but an error of this magnitude, especially since you're taking such a strident and forthright position, needs to be addressed.
CAPITOL LETTERS
The words capital and capitol, though they are homophones, have no root basis relationship at all. Capitol is named after Capitoline hill, which is in turn Latin for Capitolium, temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus.
Capital, on the other hand, is also Latin, but derived from capitālis of the head (capit-, stem of caput head, + -ālis -al1).
I typically don't play the role of grammar police, but when a poster is front and center attempting to dominate a thread and/or persuade undecideds, it's critical to avoid making obvious contextual and/or word choice errors. (No one has a problem with spelling errors or even substitution since one tends to type fast and there aren't any edit functions available.)
one thing for sure there is NO tax planning anymore...there is nothing to go to...perhaps if we just quit our jobs we can save on taxes, but then we’ll be in the doghouse so its all a moot point.
