LOL — I watched the video and read the articles. The cop did display poor judgement but I have to cut him some slack because, IMHO, he was dealing with some wise asses. One kid gave a phony name/ID & the group of kids at the pawnshop were accompanying a suspect in the theft of that pawnshop. Anyhow, the Chief is admonishing the cop and I suspect he’ll be more careful with his words in the future.

Absolutely! Miles west of Chicago,and they are still $hit kids. Must be something in the water. But the cops better get really wise to the fact that their every move is going to be recorded both picture and sound! If both sides here had shown a scintilla of respect for one another, this could have all been over in minutes. That said “probable cause” was really weak on the cop’s part.
