Trump Rails Against Not-Guilty Steinle Verdict

In case you missed the breaking news Thursday, Jose Zarate, the illegal alien who shot and killed Kate Steinle in San Francisco, was found not guilty. 

Zarate, you’ll remember, had been deported five times prior to the deadly shooting of Steinle. He had even been in jail on a drug charge prior to the shooting but thanks to San Francisco’s sanctuary city laws, Zarate was released despite a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer on him. 

As you can imagine, President Trump, who campaigned on cracking down on illegal immigration and building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, was furious at the not-guilty verdict. On Thursday evening he called it “disgraceful” and said it’s “no wonder the people of our Country are so angry with illegal immigration.”

But he didn’t stop there. Friday morning he continued talking about the case. 

“The Kate Steinle killer came back and back over the weakly protected Obama border, always committing crimes and being violent, and yet this info was not used in court. His exoneration is a complete travesty of justice. BUILD THE WALL!” Trump said on Twitter.

“The jury was not told the killer of Kate was a 7 time felon. The Schumer/Pelosi Democrats are so weak on Crime that they will pay a big price in the 2018 and 2020 Elections,” he added.

While Zarate may not have been found guilty of first degree murder, second degree murder, or manslaughter, U.S. immigration official will deport him…again.

But wouldn’t a civil trial also be held in the Bay area? And heard by a jury whose taxes would pay for any settlement?

They weren’t told of any other crimes OR of his deportations. I doubt they were even told he was illegal.

I believe the contradictions in his commentary before arrest never were considered either. Even were it accidental, if you recklessly run someone over with your car, you could be subject to a involuntary manslaughter conviction. The jury should be shot.

So-Called????? What do San Francisco US Citizens otherwise refer to this policy as? These folks in CA have completely lost any ability to think or reason.

"Many people have criticized this case, including the attorney general of the U.S., the president and the vice president," said Gonzalez, the defense attorney. "Let me remind them that they're themselves under investigation by special prosecution in Washington, D.C."

There ya have it - it is all Trump's fault and he must be removed from his illegal swearing in as 45th US President. Justice certainly has not been served for his running mate and UNIDICTED FELON Hitlery, as she continues to roam the streets free as a bird.

Heard this morning the DOJ is considering federal charges.

Say what you want about Jeff Sessions, but he's been on the mark when it comes to going after sanctuary cities and illegal immigrants. I think Sessions will do his best to find a way to throw as many Federal charges against this cholo scumbag. Unfortunately, murder probably cannot be one of those Federal charges (because the victim was not a Federal employee).

IMO this verdict was a direct result of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The SF jurors chose to use this platform to send a disapproving message to Trump rather than deal with the actual facts of the case.
