The verbiage in the bill itself is going to be critical. If there is anything in there that will still allow states like NJ to screw people with hollow point bullets, then it’s the typical crap sandwich we expect from republicans.

I will take what I can get on this. If NJ outlaws HP bullets, I can work around that -- and lobby for a revision next year.

Of course I would prefer ammo of my choice, but if I have to choose solids or my bare hands, you know which one I will take. If we are one vote short in the senate and that is the compromise, so be it.
