It is the law: No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States.... clause 2, XIVth amendment, US Constitution.
As it is now, the 14th amendment is enforced as giving children of foreigners who can waddle across our border and give birth, birthright citizenship.
But it doesn’t protect the 2nd amendment rights of real citizens once we cross state lines into a slave state.
How screwed is that?
