I remember when he first got elected and 60 minutes did a segment on him and how he was fighting against the establishment House Democrats. Obviously he gave himself over to the dark side of the force.
This has always been his ruse to fool the dupes. He poses as the Progressive radical fighting against the Man. When it comes down to dollars and cents, however, he is in bed with the Man while the dupes are being robbed blind.
