100% of CFPB Donations Went to Democrats

ARTICLE DATE 11/24/16...............The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is the most partisan agency in the federal government in terms of donations to candidates, according to campaign finance data.

Employees at the CFPB, which was created by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, contributed nearly $50,000 during the 2016 campaign with all of that money going to aid Hillary Clinton or her rival, the insurgent socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., VT). Agency employees made more than 300 donations during the campaign. Not one went to a Republican candidate.

Rep. Sean Duffy (R., Wis.), a frequent critic of the agency, said that it is no surprise that the agency would contribute to the Democratic campaign. Republicans have tried to reduce the scope of the bureau's broad regulatory power since Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.), one of the most liberal lawmakers in the country, oversaw its creation.

It goes well beyond the CFPB. The vast bulk of the enormous FedGov bureaucracy are Dems, but are protected by Civil Service laws. It’s long past time to rethink that.

and wow oh wow are the dems screaming about ‘injustice’ today in the newspapers lol- Running around screaming about how the ‘sky is falling’ - bottom line is that they are likely now upset they won’t get their donations from the group any longer- Take away their donations and watch the yelling and screaming that ensues- CROOKS screaming about having their stolen funds dried up!

Time to revise the Hatch Act to outlaw donations to federal campaigns. Simply make it a part of the employment agreement.

CFPB is a monopsony (a public monopoly, here a political one, as they tend to be) and the NEA, PBS and NPR are all Democrat agitprop organs, auxiliaries to Uniparty’s private MSM.
If it’s an alphabet, the chances are good it is a useless, featherbedding, public enterprise sinecure for liberals and should be eliminated.
These are the hired hands who are the first to be `furloughed’ with full pay when the Democrats don’t get their way, the equivalent of holding their breath until they turn blue.
Shut it down, give them their pinko slips. Then on to the State dept.

Emails Confirm: Obama DOJ Funneled Big Bank Settlement Money To Liberal Groups

The Daily Caller / 10/24/2017 | Jack Crowe
FR Posted by ForYourChildren

Emails written by Obama administration Department of Justice officials confirm reports the agency engaged in a systemic effort to funnel money to liberal advocacy organizations from settlements reached with big banks.

The documents, obtained by the House Judiciary Committee as part of an ongoing investigation, reveal the Obama Justice Department effectively skirted Congress’s budgetary authority by requiring that major financial institutions donate to a group of affordable housing nonprofits and legal advocacy organizations as part of settlement agreements resulting from predatory mortgage lending practices.

The internal DOJ documents represent the latest revelation in a two-year investigation spearheaded by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte.

The investigation has thus far yielded evidence implicating the Obama DOJ in using mandatory donations to funnel roughly $1 billion in settlement money to activist groups, including The National Council of La Raza, the National Community Reinvestment Coalition and the National Urban League. The list of third party organizations were unrelated to the legal settlements, except through general claims that they would use the funds to aid the low income Americans most severely harmed by predatory lending practices.

SESSIONS STOPS Justice Department Ends Government Bankrolling of Liberal Groups in Legal Settlements

FR Posted by Tolerance Sucks Rocks
The Daily Signal ^ | June 7, 2017 | Rachel del Guidice

The federal government no longer will make settlement agreements with any person or organization not directly involved in a legal dispute, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced Wednesday. The move by Sessions abolished a practice that has funneled likely millions of dollars in banking settlements to outside organizations in such “third-party” payments.

Left-wing groups, including La Raza and NeighborWorks America, benefited from the practice, The Daily Signal previously reported.

In a formal statement, Sessions said: Effective immediately, [Justice] Department attorneys may not enter into any agreement on behalf of the United States in settlement of federal claims or charges, including agreements... more on FR.

It was a scam from the beginning. Another bureaucracy to rule, without lawful government action. Another machination in an already completely manipulated realm (finance).

I heard the same thing about it reporting to the Federal Reserve only - CFPB is a left-wing skimming operation, completely out of public oversight.

99 44/100%. I think it was around 539 cases went to lib entities; and 1 (One), (Uno), (Ein), (Ichi) went to a Republican.

Trump should demand the money back from all those leftist groups. Take them to court and make them spend millions to defend themselves.
