I don’t like Matt Lauer and will not mourn his being fired. However, from what NBC is saying, they fired him because of an accusation of inappropriate behavior. I think we need to be very worried that the standard is now being set as an accusation is enough to fire someone. Anyone can make an accusation - and even provide a yearbook with a fake autograph to prove it, or a photoshopped photo.

Exactly, we are feeding a beast that will turn on all men. Guys will be subjugated to 2nd class citizens.

I doubt it was just an “accusation”....me thinks they have a lot of proof....or else Lauer would/could sue. Businesses don’t just dump a top guy for “allegations.” IMHO.
