VOSTOCHNY LAUNCH PAD, Russia (AP) -- A Russian weather satellite and nearly 20 micro-satellites from various nations failed to enter their designated orbits Tuesday following the launch from Russia's new cosmodrome, another blow to the nation's space program.
Russia's Roscosmos space agency said it has failed to establish communications with the Meteor M 2-1 satellite that was launched atop a Soyuz-2 booster rocket Tuesday from Russia's new Vostochny launch pad in the Far East. The agency says it's trying to determine what happened.

Sure, a “weather sat”, wonder what actual orbit it is in?

It’s a good thing the satellites are still in a warehouse someplace

SpaceX, when it absolutely, positively has to be there.

They need to ask the North Koreans as to how it is done. Hehehehe

North Korea Nuclear EMP Attack:
An Existential Threat
...
Or an EMP attack might be made by a North Korean satellite, right now.
A Super-EMP weapon could be relatively small and lightweight, and could fit inside North Koreas Kwangmyongsong-3 (KMS-3) and Kwangmyongsong-4 (KMS-4) satellites. These two satellites presently orbit over the United States, and over every other nation on Earth--demonstrating, or posing, a potential EMP threat against the entire world.
North Koreas KMS-3 and KMS-4 satellites were launched to the south on polar trajectories and passed over the United States on their first orbit. Pyongyang launched KMS-4 on February 7, 2017, shortly after its fourth illegal nuclear test on January 6, that began the present protracted nuclear crisis with North Korea.
The south polar trajectory of KMS-3 and KMS-4 evades U.S. Ballistic Missile Early Warning Radars and National Missile Defenses, resembling a Russian secret weapon developed during the Cold War, called the Fractional Orbital Bombardment System (FOBS) that would have used a nuclear-armed satellite to make a surprise EMP attack on the United States. 7

And we wonder just what the X-37 was doing up there for a year or more?
That stuff is very tightly held, so no way will we peasants know.

"satellite fails to enter orbit"?
Doesn't that really mean "satellite succeeds in crashing to the earth"?

Russia should consult with North Korea. They probably have an answer to the failure since they are rife with failures.

There's a lot we can do,
and there's a lot the South Korean Military can do.But you just don't hear about
their capabilities !
I've got 5 short tours in the ROK,
and I'm telling you from a Control Tower Watch Supervisor's perspective,
It'll be over quicker than you think,
and North Korea won't have the chance to do what many LIBERALS and DOVES think they can !
What about our
ASM-135 ASAT missile or
other weapon systems we have ?
What about our
X-37B ?
We HAVE the capability.
What we've lacked ...
is the "WILL" to USE it ! But Trump does NOT have that problem.
Do you think the artillery south of the DMZ that the ROK has, as well as the United States Army has, is just going to sit there and allow Seoul to be destroyed ?
What do you think their FIRST targets will be ?
Our's as well as the ROK's artillery are already
'dialed in' on those North Korean artillery sites, as well as the barracks that house the North Korean soldiers that man those sites.
How many of those north Korean Artillery sites are controlled by electronics (computers) ?
Do you know about CHAMP and its capabilities ?
Do you know about MOP ("
Massive Ordnance Penetrator").
What do you think those THREE Carrier Groups are there for ?
Timing, and the planning of the timing of the attack (right down to the very second that each 'tool' is launched) ... is critical.
Nathan Bedford Forrest :
I always make it a ruleto get there first with the most men
I just took the short cut and got there first with the most men.
When it comes to North Korea...
FIRST, We take out their satellites. (ASM-135 ASAT missile)
Second, we zap them with EMP Cruise Missiles, radar jamming and chaff. (Counter-electronics High-powered Microwave Advanced Missile Project (CHAMP) )
Then here comes the ICBMs.
Then the all out strike begins. Kim Jong-un gets a MOAB suppository.
Then we launch every aircraft in the region thats supersonic, including South Koreas fighters and bombers, to cross into North Korea from all directions, to overfly low level at Mach One PLUS, to bust every piece of glass in North Korea.
Then we firebombs the place to ashes.
The only real transportation system North Korea has is the railroads, so they get blown to smithereens.
And thats just the start of day one.
And then we'll send in the Republic of (South) Korea's military in to KILL ANYTHING LEFT ALIVE NORTH OF THE DMZ !

‘’’’FIRST, We take out their satellites. (ASM-135 ASAT missile)’’’’
Do you think there are operational missile of this type left?
To: NorseViking
I do.
But even if they are not enough, we have the 'know-how' and the technology to rapidly replace them.
But there's also a good chance that we have an even better missile system on-line that we don't even know about .
Some of my old acquaintances at Eglin AFB,FL that had connections with DARPA have retired, and I don't have as much access to our current weapons systems information, like I use to.
