It’s too bad Cokie Roberts wasn’t some sort of a journalist or talking head on TV or a radio personality at the time. She might have been in a position to blow the whistle on these disgusting miscreants.
One wonders how many women were victimized because Cokie went along with this for all those years.
Silence is consent after all.

I used to like Cokie a lot. My god, that was a long time ago.
So compassionate.
Good one!
Now, an important issue: would you say that your quip was sarcastic, or sardonic? I’m often confused on that point. (Regardless, it was a good one — though it could be a tad more caustic.)
She was a long-time panelist on the ABC News Sunday show. From Wikipedia: Roberts was the co-anchor of the ABC News' Sunday morning broadcast, This Week with Sam Donaldson & Cokie Roberts from 1996 to 2002, while serving as the chief congressional analyst for ABC News. She covered politics, Congress and public policy, reporting for World News Tonight and other ABC News broadcasts.
Mr. and Mrs. Roberts both were and still are in positions to blow the whistle on congressional miscreants if they so desire.
No joke, and without a doubt she knew about it and would still vote for every damn one of the pervs.
