House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Monday she believes the story of Melanie Sloan, a former employee of Rep. John Conyers, just a day after she refused to criticize the Michigan Democrat amid sexual harassment accusations.

Yeah. Just on Sunday she was saying he was a champion for women’s rights, didn’t know who the accusers were, said he’s entitled to “due process”, etc. Maybe she got some feedback to indicate that her attitude wasn’t helping their image?
