Make provisions to prosecute false accusers and a lot of it will stop....
3 years ago in my then workplace I was having a discussion with a woman about schools fencing off their property and playground equipment to keep kids safe. She was arguing that the kids needed protection from mass school shootings
I was arguing that after hours and on weekends there was no need to close these areas off as there were no kids at school during those times and they should be open....especially when my tax dollars went to build and maintain these facilities and equipment. I wanted to be able to take my grandkids there. I wasn’t rude about it but would not back off my position.
As her argument crumbled around her she stated to me if I don’t quit talking about it she would charge me with sexual harassment. Gods honest truth.
I immediately went to our supervisor, filled her in and documented it. My supervisor was a woman with her head on straight and understood. She had had problems with the woman herself.
I avoided the female dog from then until I left the workplace a year later. BUT I had to come to work everyday, avoiding her and wondering if she was going to accuse me of anything today. I never let myself be alone with her.
I have other incidents in other workplaces from over the years that I could relate just as egregious.
Nope. Unless they slip up and reveal their lies.... and even then you are probably still sunk.
Convert to islam and then claim Islamophobia.
I'm 70 years old and have never received an unkind word for being a gentlemen, let alone be yelled at or insulted.
Of course, I've spent most of my adult life either in the South or overseas.
Invariably, women say, "Thank you!"
Ironically, now that I have white hair & walk with a cane, young ladies frequently hold the door for me...much to my embarrassment! I have learned to smile ans say, "Thank you, miss!"
Ha Ha Ha. I like the happy ending.
I really do believe honesty is the absolute best policy here.
The man should be indignant and very, very clear about his exact behaviors. His story should be consistent over time. He should show zero evasiveness. He should admit to hitting on the woman, asking her out, showing interest, if he did so, but he should defend against the false allegation of whatever she said he did that he did not do. Evasiveness or denying HURTS your case. A good memory will help. I know I said she has the best figure in the office, but I never said I wanted to run my hands over her.
And if he did nothing, and if he has some alibi, he needs to use it. Best policy is to prevent any accusation by having the Pence policy and not being alone with people of the opposite s3x behind closed doors.
I watched that obscene clip. She kept referencing the Scarlett Letter. Isn’t that fiction? And witch burning. Didn’t that top out at 20 people?
Funny thing. Just before 9/11, I was one of the heavy duty FR Condidit researchers. We really had a lot of evidence on this guy being involved in Chandra Levys murder. I did some really deep online digging, and on one long goose chase I found someone chatting about DC sex parties attended by bigwigs. They named Condit, Kasich, and Speaker of the House Hastert as being present. I pretty much discounted the gossip. UNTIL HASTERT WAS BUSTED. Then I thought back, and believed that whole story.
I saw dinosaurs eating people and each other in the Jurassic Park series. I think maybe it didn't happen. The point is, video can be edited and FX added, so you have to be cautious even believing your eyes when it is a video.
Men Going Their Own Way? Sounds like a homosexual recruiting site!
Mebbe an Urban Legend, but I read where a guy held open the door for a woman. "I don't want your help." she snarled, "I can do it myself." The guy replied, "My apologies, madam, I thought you were a lady."
I've held the door open for the ladies many a time and most often got a smile and a 'Thank You'. Sometimes time not a word, to which I replied "You're welcome."
A sterling reputation won't help you either . Look what they've been doing to Roy Moore.
