There are plenty of crazy anti-dopers that are equally clueless when it comes to tolerating differences of opinion on the subject.

People who are better informed do get weary of hearing the same uniformed opinions repeated over and over again. It's like talking to someone about economics when they keep repeating "Why don't we just print more money?"

It doesn't work the way they think it works.

Your argument from analogy aside, sometimes people who consider themselves better informed are the very people that are the most clueless.
