Fortunately, Franken and Conyers aren't making McConnell's job any easier.

It was easy for McConnell to sit back and wait for the voters in Alabama to do his dirty work for him, but that's not happening. When Moore wins, the question to McConnell will rightly be "why are so willing to give up your slim advantage when the Democrats, in just the past week, have dug in and demonstrated they're willing to do the opposite?"

I think the establishment hates Trump and the deplorables who put him in office so much they are willing to fall on swords and give the senate over to the dems to keep Trump's agenda on hold.
