Note the extraneous text in the href attribute. Probably a select / copy / paste error.
If you had simply posted the URL without adding any markup, it would have worked. If you don't include any HTML, the server recognizes URLs and turns them into links automatically.

Seems like I’ve done it in the past and it went through okay so I must have done something a little different to break the link. I appreciate the explanation.
