Jeff Sessions was in Las Vegas on July 12th praising the Acting US Attorney Steve Myrhe who’s prosecuting the Bunkerville Standoff case.
Myhre opposed using the Constitution as a defense in the first two trials (First and Second Amendments) and got the judge to go along with him.
At the third trial now underway new evidence about an FBI buildup with heavily armed agents (snipers) around Bundy Ranch has been released.
Cliven Bundy said the sniper threat he and his family detected were relevant to all the people showing up exercising their Second Amendment right. Myhre fought release of this evidence claiming non-relevance.
The first two trials with six defendants should have had that evidence.
After Sessions visit to Las Vegas, the Government released evidence they had been suppressing. Coincidence?
