Agreed 100%. I have been to a bunch of counter-protests against the Code Pinkos, and Move-on.org types, and when you see them up close and personal, it is unsettling and revolting.
The true believers with spittle on their lips, hate in their eyes, and hysteria in their voices are something to be avoided if possible. Those people are deranged.

I was there also. The Gathering of Eagles (the counter protest) ended up out numbering the combined leftist/anti-American protesters by almost 3 to 1. And the press called the Eagles “a group of hard-eyed old men”, many of whom were Viet Nam War veterans who had heard about the plans of the demonstrators to deface the Wall. On this occasion, at least, the Liberals were a *scared* bunch.
Should happen more often, IMO.
