Maybe 10 years ago, I was called out of a trial to an emergency hearing in another division. The assistant said that the judge was holding the telephone call with the other lawyer who was about 100 miles away. The Judge motioned me in and the I noticed he was sitting at his desk wearing only his gym shorts and a wife beater undershirt. We had what I recall as a very serious hearing. Once it was over the Judge seemed to realize for the first time that he was only in his underwear. He said he was going to his physical therapy appointment after his next hearing. He put on his robes and went into his courtroom.
Ha, at least he put his robes on before going into the courtroom. :)
