As a journalist, this is borderline offensive. 8:06AM: White House makes pool reporter issue a correction to say "The president will NOT have a low-key day and has a full schedule of meetings and phone calls."
9::26AM: The president goes golfing

Does borderline offensive mean it is not offensive?

Interesting. I can see Clinton doing this...I wonder if this practice continued under W, Obamugabe and PRESIDENT trump.
Golf wasn’t a reportable offense during forty-fours reign...
If that was Obama, the golf would be the only thing he would do all day (except maybe fire up a blunt or two).
The press corp is fed and pampered at taxpayer expense by Whitehouse catering. Every day is a smorgasbord. Technically that is income and they should be taxed on the value of their free meals. Brown bags for we and not for them.

Baby Bush fed them peanut butter and jelly sandwiches once and they cried for a month. I would install vending machines and a water bubbler.
Girl needs to learn about antecedants and dependant clauses and that sort of thing.
I read that article about how well fed they are. It’s a load of garbage, and quite aggravating that he seemed to be rubbing it in.
One had to wonder how much money is spent on these parasites.
And how they undermine the country. They are not reporters. They are agenda driven reps for highest bidder.
I guess if I were POTUS (which I would never want to be), I would do what I damn well pleased especially if it upset the media whores. They just have to learn to live with it or get a real job.

Her “sentence” would rate an F- in any decent 9th grade English composition class.
You were right. Yet another reason to despise these pampered prestitutes. Free food and they complain about having to, *shudder*, endure a cold sandwich. The horror. The horror.
The press displays the same lack of situational awareness as the French aristocracy before the Revolution. They are despised by the people and deservedly so.
Paid mercenary hacks to be sure.
