Rush clearly was not a Trump supporter from the get-go. He was more of a GOP Inc Company Guy. He called “Marco Rubio” a “rock ribbed” conservative in the midst of the primary, for example, and I don’t think anyone had any idea what the hell he was talking about.

The big difference between Rush and Levin though is the fact that Rush didn't trash-talk pro-Trump callers who phoned in.
