A federal judge on Monday permanently blocked President Donald Trump's executive order to cut funding from cities that limit cooperation with U.S. immigration authorities.
U.S. District Court Judge William Orrick rejected the administration's argument that the executive order applies only to a relatively small pot of money and said Trump cannot set new conditions on spending approved by Congress.

No problem... just take a page out of the previous admin’s playbook and ‘prioritize,’ rather than ban, spending. There are very limited federal budget resources... spending tax dollars where there is a high likelihood of $ ending up in the hands of those unauthorized to benefit from federal expenditures would be a violation of the public trust. No need to issue any executive order at all... just prioritize the spending as Obama did with immigration priorities.
It’s permanent until overturned
“Its permanent until overturned”
Or ignored.
Totally discretionary.

That’s assuming the SC takes the case.
“Ignore him. He doesnt get to make executive budget decisions”
We have a winner. If the corrupt courts are going to interject themselves into every decision the executive makes, why don’t we just do away with the executive branch and let the judges rule? Appealing these unconstitutional edicts further compounds the error because that STILL leaves the black robed tyrants making the final decision.
They need to be ignored.

The President of the United States should not be treated as subservient to the whim of a judge.
Isn’t Orrick an Obamite?
In any event, just another judge with his tongue stuck out and his thumbs in his ears with fingers a wigglin’ toward the USA.
John McCain wouldnt surprise me.
Clearly Arizona is running amok with Democrat retirees.
This piece was written back in May 2017... Thank your Bishop, if you are Catholic. Orrick is just working for the communist US Catholic Bishops!!! There is much profit in human trafficking by ‘we the people’.
“Legal Challenges
In January, San Francisco became the first city to sue the Trump administration over the executive order on constitutional grounds. Since then, at least five other local governments have also sued.
Judge Orricks April 25 ruling is a temporary injunction until the judge issues a broader ruling on the executive orders constitutionality. But in his order granting temporary relief to San Francisco and Santa Clara County, the judge indicated that the plaintiffs are likely to win a permanent victory in the case.
The judges ruling casts a skeptical eye on the Trump administrations plan to tie all federal funding to a communitys policy on immigration matters. If there was doubt about the scope of the order, the president and attorney general have erased it with their public comments, Orrick wrote, referring to remarks indicating the administration would interpret the order broadly.”
Screw Sessions, quit pussy footing around with funds and charge them with multiple felonies.
Appeal, and also put a bill in front of Congress limiting funding to Sanctuary Cities.
Push back on this lawlessness before the We the People are forced to as a group instead of individuals.
and virtually all the appropriations are in the form of grants. All grants have ropes, not strings attached to them. I found this out when working with a police department on supplying them with advanced digital dash cams. The money was to come from grants. It got so front loaded that I pulled out of any deals already in the works because it would have made it more expensive than it was worth in ongoing compliance after the deal alone.
Ignore it and make the states sue, wasting all their time and money to bring it all the way to SCOTUS.
