It is better not to rule than to rule falsely. Goodbye!
Those were the words of Christian Lindner, leader of the Free Democrats (FDP) party in Germany as he walked out of talks with Angela Merkels Christian Democratic Union (CDU). This was effectively the last shot that Merkel had at forming a ruling coalition with a safe majority in the Bundestag. This leaves Merkel in perilous territory and no one is certain what happens next. But one thing seems certain, and thats the new reality of a Germany which is no longer in the untouchable grasp of Merkels former CDU controlled alliance which has held sway for nearly two decades.
*snip*
So what went wrong? The BBC has some good background on that subject, but the biggest driving factor was immigration. Germany has already been forced to enact a moratorium on most migrants entering the country, but theres been a push among Merkels supporters to allow family members of immigrants already in the country to join them. Thats a very unpopular idea with not only the right wing AfD, but several of the other parties that saw significant gains in Parliament this year. People are frustrated with open borders, rising crime and threats of more terrorist attacks.

Repatriate all the Islamic invaders now - or the country is lost
Failing to do that could mean the calling of another election.
I know there are some Freepers who live in Germany. Perhaps they can explain better than I.
It was Russians, that is why she won! /s
LOCK HER UP!
She has to form a government that gives her a majority in the Bundestag or have new elections.
Which might very well give what passes for the right more seats!

The new government should be: CDU/CSU + FDP + AfD.
But all other German political parties absolutely refuse to include AfD in anything. So it’s up to the German people to elect so many AfD representatives that the others have no choice but to deal with them honestly.
Then their family members, and then their family members, and then
Her party won a plurality, not a majority. She can't get anything passed without a majority of the votes in the Bundestag, which means sharing power with enough other parties to add up to a majority. And since it looks like she won't be able to do that, they'll be having another election soon.
Look in a mirror and say that again, America.
I don’t understand what took Germany so long to do this?
YES! America has been SOLD OUT (mostly by Obama the enemy foreign agent, of course, but also Bush let lots of Islamics in, too, damn him and his SELLOUT to his Arabian bff’s!). These traitors needs to be prosecuted seriously, while they’

sad, very sad what’s been done to America, isn’t it?
and the perpetrators are still at it, trying to do more damage, too
