Back in the 50s and 60s doctors handed out amphetamines and barbiturates like candy. If you complained about low energy they gave you Dexedrine or Benzedrine, if you couldn't sleep they gave you Seconal. A lot of people figured it was OK if their doctor gave it to them and ended up addicted. How does that mean someone is or isn't sincere in their faith?

A lot of people figured it was OK if their doctor gave it to them and ended up addicted. How does that mean someone is or isn't sincere in their faith? Very true and Hollywood gives half their story. Very few people know Hank Willams Sr had an Open Spine and was in constant pain. Hank penned some great Gospel songs in his short life.
