Cable channel E! is conducting an internal investigation into an allegation of misconduct against Ryan Seacrest.
The allegation stems from an alleged incident reported by a former stylist who worked at E! News when Seacrest worked there. The incident, the details of which are unknown, is alleged to have occurred roughly a decade ago.
Recently, someone that worked as a wardrobe stylist for me nearly a decade ago at E! News, came forward with a complaint suggesting I behaved inappropriately toward her,” Seacrest said in a statement Friday. “If I made her feel anything but respected, I am truly sorry. I dispute these reckless allegations and I plan to cooperate with any corporate inquiries that may result. I treat all my colleagues with kindness, dignity, and understanding, as this is a principle that’s core to who I am.
Throughout my 25 years in the entertainment industry, the majority of my co-workers have been women, and I’ve endeavored to foster a positive work environment of mutual respect and courtesy, as that’s how I believe it should be. I’m distraught that anyone or any situation would call that into question. I’m proud of my workplace reputation, and believe my track record will speak for itself. I’m an advocate for women. I will continue to support their voices.”
A spokesperson for E! confirmed that the cable channel is conducting an investigation.
Seacrest is a multi-hyphenate producer and host. He currently co-hosts “Live With Kelly and Ryan” weekday mornings on ABC and is slated to serve as host of that network’s upcoming revival of “American Idol.”
His stylist (female) May have been paid to make such a claim. I bet he treated her with the utmost of respect. Just sayin.

I bet that he is innocent.
I've had my butt pinched by women as I'm ascending the escalator at train stations. Also had women press up against my body while riding a crowded train, the women smiling and gazing at my eyes and they knew what they were doing. Then there are co-worker women who while we're walking outside would thrust their hand into my jeans pocket supposedly because their hand is cold (which I would quickly yank out). Because I'm happily married (and still am almost 50 years later) I resisted these advances. Just saying, some of this misconduct happens in reverse order, women towards men.
Because they wanted to get Bill Cosby, California changed their law to no statute of limitations on rape. Other states vary widely from three years to 20. Eventually, pervs will get smart and move to states with short time limits. That said, I agree these 20 year late accusations are verging on the ridiculous.

You’re right. Ryan can afford to have the best beards in Hollywood, from Julianne Hough to his current live-in, model Shayna Taylor. I respect his choice of living his private life in the mold of Rock Hudson. I can only wish more Hollyweirdos made this choice.
Although. Some of the most closeted guys ended up with AIDS because they had to get their sex in the bushes or restrooms.
