The Wall Street Journal reports that Mueller’s team issued the subpoena in mid-October, requesting documents and emails from over a dozen top campaign officials that include several keywords related to Russia.
A source familiar with the matter told the Journal that the subpoena would not compel testimony before a grand jury, but that Trump’s campaign was surprised by the order after voluntarily cooperating with previous requests from Mueller’s team.

This was Mueller’s intention all along. Mueller really is motivated by hatred for Trump and conservatives. Just like McCain.
Mueller’s team is more militant and unaccountable than any branch or agency of government. In a very real way, this makes him higher and more powerful than the AG Office itself.
THIS IS PURE VENDETTA!
Nothing to do with Russia. This is about proving he is greater than an elected president, and then acting to remove the president.
I personally do not understand how Mueller is not laughing about all of this every night!
He knows he is using (wasting) conservative taxpayer dollars to carry out what amounts to a socialist sanctioned HIT on the Constitutionally elected POTUS!
At the very same time he is carrying out a sanctioned HIT on an innocent POTUS, I am sure Mueller is well aware, he is also keeping a legitimate or real investigation from going forward, with a plethora of real anti-American activity and RICO violations.
He is now moving to neutralize and through attrition, halt most White House operations. White House and POTUS staff will now have no choice but to take time off to provide all records and provide testimony as demanded by Mueller and his team.
This really needs to be pushed back against.

I would not be surprised if the residency of some of these American citizens experience early morning break-ins, in an effort to acquire any “questionable” or technically “illegal” substances, unregistered guns, hard drives etc... !!!
This really needs to stop, and while is won’t happen, Mueller himself needs to go to prison for a long time!
If I were Trump I would have held a National address, with large placards behind listing the 17 Lawyers/Prosecutors Mueller has hied, with a check mark next to their name showing their contributions to Hillary and by how much the gave. I would then explain that not a single one voted for him, or contributed to Republicans. Call it what it is, a Democrat With Hunt, and Fire every single one of them. He won’t do this of course, and in the end Mueller will ensure Democrats win the Congress which eventually will lead to Trump’s impeachment. When you don’t fight back, you Lose.

I just heard on the radio that these are "follow up" subpoenas, asking for significantly more info than before, so much so that it is expected to take MONTHS for all the info to be gathered and submitted. If they can't impeach Trump, they intend to at least bury him under accusations and court requirements.

With the appointment by Rosenstein, of another lawless left wing globalist, Mueller, to the position of unimpeded “Special Counsel”, Mueller has ascended above the control of an already weaponized Justice Department and AG.
Mueller now has the authority to demand already weaponized and corrupted JD and FBI assets and personnel, to focus on his agenda!
Mueller is now moving to subject the entire Executive Branch to his authority!
This is not only involving Trump Campaign staff. This is spreading out across the entire Executive Branch.
Mueller has reached the pinnacle of arrogance, and will not go this far to look like he failed. If necessary, he will create very detailed and elaborate evidence to demonstrate his prowess and legitimacy.
One way he could be neutralized is to appoint an equally powerful “Independent Counsel”. In my view, this is necessary, as the Justice Department and FBI have been populated and weaponized by proactive left wing socialist ideolog’s.
If Congress would act to stop Mueller, maybe this would not be necessary. However, much of Congress hates Trump and conservatism, as we are an impediment to their global socialist objectives. They will not do it.
Perhaps you could lower the flag to half-mast or better still turn it upside down?

Seeking truth is not arrogant. Telling someone if they want to match wits you’ll turn off your brain is. Otherwise you are right that we can only know what we know and everything else is speculation. As mentioned in my earlier reply, I agree with you that blindly believing so-called news attributed only to anonymous sources is unwise. We are left to wonder if the story is a real leak or made up, and what the motivation was for leaking it if it’s a genuine leak.
