You speak the truth. I am actually attending an adoption ceremony tomorrow. A good friend of mine is single (never married), pushing 50, and an only child. She went through cancer several years ago and vowed that when she returned to health she would pursue adoption. She has fostered two sisters (different fathers, naturally) for about a year and has been approved to adopt (no thanks to the garbage mom and dads). These girls saw and experienced horrible things in their home; I am so grateful for the second chance my friend is giving them! I wish the poor baby in this article had met a similar angel. God rest her soul.
