Segerblom calls for higher taxes, greater county control of CCSD — VIDEO

Sen. Tick Segerblom, D-Las Vegas, is running to represent District E on the Clark County Commission, but he’s also got one eye on the Clark County School District. Segerblom wants to increase the sales tax to boost education funding and have the County Commission take control of the School Board.

Segerblom made his comments while appearing on Nevada Politics Today.

That’s how the original Federal Income tax was. For the first 25 years or so, only the wealthy paid. Then WWII came along and everyone got to pay “their fair share”. Once the camel’s nose is in the tent, don’t be surprised when you’re sharing the tent with the whole beast.
