Council Cracks Down on ‘Islamophobia’ After Parents Withdraw Children from School Mosque Trips

When is this rabid proselytizing for Islam in the public schools going to stop? There are no trips to shuls, Hindu temples or churches. There is no place for religion in public schools, let alone Islam, a comprehensive supremacist system that is religious, legal, dietary, political, social, cultural and military. It’s not like other religions.

Parents should be free to opt out of these propagandist trips without penalty.

Council Cracks Down on ‘Islamophobia’ After Parents Withdraw Children from School Mosque Trips

A council in Britain is taking action to crack down on “Islamophobia” in response to some parents refusing to send their children on mosque visits arranged by schools.

By Virgina Hale, Breitbart, November 15, 2017:

After it emerged that some pupils were being prevented from going on school trips to mosques by their families, Staffordshire’s Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) produced a document claiming mosque visits are vital in preparing children for life in “diverse” Britain.

While families have the right to remove their children from school trips, SACRE said it was a “serious matter” that pupils have been withdrawn from mosque visits. Some parents have cited concerns over cost and safety in their requests, while others deplored a “political agenda” behind the activities, according to the Stoke Sentinel.

To counter this trend, SACRE is issuing schools with guidance on how to counter the trend, which includes a template letter to parents claiming that mosque visits play an important role in “helping to prepare and equip pupils for life and citizenship in today’s diverse and plural Britain”.

The education body told schools: “While objections are raised about visits to a number of places of worship, they are most frequently about visits to mosques, which raises the bigger issue of Islamaphobia [sic] and how this can be addressed.”

There have been mixed reactions to SACRE’s response to parents’ concerns, with Stoke Sentinel readers taking to Facebook to express their opinions on the matter.

“As long as there are also trips to places of worship of other religions too, but usually it’s just the mosque and children are expected to pray or even dress as if they were Muslim for this purpose. Would Muslims go to pray in the churches of other religions?” said Lynne Smith.

“I was called a bad parent by a teacher at my daughter’s primary school for not letting her visit a mosque on a school trip,” wrote Gemma Hollins, reporting that “the majority of Muslims” in her child’s class failed to attend a church visit scheduled by the school.

SACRE attracted some controversy when, in 2010, it released Ramadan guidelines instructing Staffordshire schools to halt swimming lessons during the Islamic holy month to ensure Muslim pupils “do not swallow water”, as it could break their fast.

The 11-page guide also advised schools put sex education classes on hold during Ramadan, as Islam requires its followers avoid sexual thoughts during this time.

“The overriding consideration should be that children do not feel disadvantaged in school activities because of their religious observance,” said Stoke-on-Trent City Council, explaining SACRE produced the document based on information from the Islamist-linked Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), a Muslim supremacist umbrella group representing more than 500 Islamic organisations in Britain.

Did they tour a Catholic Cathedral? A Jewish Synagogue? A Latter Day Saints Temple? I bet not.

Don't send them to one of these false works-based religions.

A field trip to a bible-breathing Baptist church would at least expose them to the Gospel and the incarnate God -- Jesus.

Islam is not a religion. It's "god" allah is not God. It is dominated by an overriding legal system, Sharia, that is very close to Leftism. It's no wonder Atheist Leftists love it.

Let’s send the snowflakes to Pakistan or Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan where Islam is really practiced.

The stupidity in Europe only ends when the decent people rise up and hang the Politicians responsible for letting the invasion happen.

Christian here. I must. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Eternal life, all sins forgiven, no works required (Romans 4:3-8).

My authority is the Bible, not a tradition which also includes the doctrines of men.

“Therefore, rejoice, O Heavens, and all you who live in the Heavens! But alas for the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you in great fury, knowing that his time is short!” Rev 12:12

Boggles the mind that the most vicious, violent religion on Earth is being given such authority by world governments. These are strange times indeed.

Jesus didn't leave us a bible ... he left us a church - from which we got the Word of God in the bible.

“A phobia is an unreasonable or unwarranted fear. Since it is neither unwarranted nor unreasonable to fear a movement which demands that you be subjugated, enslaved or killed if you decline to embrace it, there is no such thing as Islamophobia.”

Perfectly put!

Phobia means “irrational fear”. Being afraid muslims are trying to kill you and destroy your way of life is completely rational.

When politicians or the MSM use the word “phobia” it is a sure sign that they do not know the meaning of the word.

If Adolph Hitler had invented the term Naziphobia we would never have gone to war with them.
