It’s a bluff. A lawsuit against Jones will blow the progressives cover. Most people are not paying attention and normalcy bias is in effect. That all ends with open warfare. The proggies are winning. Taking over 1 American institution after another. NFL, Boy Scouts, Defense Department, etc. Why would they risk a blow up with Jones? Not going to happen.

Two words: Joe Lockhart. Let the democrats own the anti police BLM vote.

This fight is way above his pay grade. It’s the owners who are the problem.

No.

What they are saying is exactly the same thing that is going on in DC in politics.

The “in” crowd will not tolerate reformers.

Little Joey Lockhart is the poster boy for the NFL. Tells you where they are coming from.

The NBA and NFL are just operating instruments of slavery reparations.

Even if one/or both leagues go bust, the 30-million or so American actual taxpayers will be required to maintain the NBA-, and NFL-level monthly reparation payments.

Driving to work today, I realized Goodell is a genius.

His new contract is going to have his pay made up largely determined by incentive clauses. If this year is the base line, all he has to do is wait until next year to clean up the mess, and the viewers and seat-sitters will return justifying his outrageous pay.

It would have been much harder to show a year over year increase if he hadn’t tanked the numbers for the last two years.

I’m not a Jones fan by any means, but the NFL should be thanking Him for all he’s done for the league.

The NFL tried taking on a maverick owner before in Al Davis. It only cost them a fortune. Jones is far richer and far more popular with other owners than Davis ever was. Goodell is going to get squashed like a bug.

Maybe not.

The NFL owners voted earlier this year to appoint a committee of six owners to negotiate a contract extension for Goodell. Jones wasn't one of the six owners.

The vote was 32-0.

Jones is probably overstepping his bounds here.

The league allows the players to set the rules for what type of behavior they can exhibit while they’re on the job, and they blame Jones?

Dear NFL,

YOUR refusal to manage the conduct of your player/employees, in a manner consistent with all other attempts at political speech on the field, is the basis for the “damage to the league”.

You need not look any further than your own COWARDICE to recognize the source of the difficulties in the NFL.

They are “slaves” to the millions of dollars they are paid. Far, far in excess of their intrinsic worth to the country.

So what. He has every right to change his mind and express his opinion.

As far as it goes. He should ask/ney DEMAND that the owners meat to fire Goodall before all is lost!

Faced with loss of job, he may decide to take a pay cut. One he has earned.

I predict they will force him to sell the team. Like the lady who owned the Cleveland Indians was forced to sell because she had a WWII collection.

The NFL is on a self-destruct mission, blaming everyone else for their own stupidity.

Just like Hitlery Clinton, blaming everyone else for own mistakes.

The NFL is dead to me.
