Fox News anchor Shepard Smith infuriated a large number of the network's viewers on Tuesday after a six-minute segment in which he debunked far-right conspiracy theories about Hillary Clinton's alleged wrongdoing in a sale of American uranium.
The segment was surprising given that a number of broadcasters on Smith's own network have promoted the idea that Clinton broke the law in approving the sale to foreign buyers who also donated to her husband's foundation.
Smith said many claims about Clinton's supposed role in the uranium sale were 'inaccurate' - even as President Donald Trump and his supporters are calling for a federal investigation.
The Fox News host began the segment by summarizing the particulars of the sale of Uranium One, a Canadian firm with rights to mine US uranium.
Rosatom, a Russian firm, acquired a majority stake in Uranium One in 2010 and bought the remainder of the company in 2013.

Anyone know what ever happened to that witness who was to testify? It was big in the news a couple of weeks ago. Hannity had the lawyer for the witness on his show.
It sounds like Shepard ‘Doo Dad’ and his producers have been 100% ignoring the book CLINTON CASH by Peter Schweizer. That book lists how the ClinTOONS blur the lines between politics, philanthropy, and business. The section on the Uranium Deal clearly shows that this ‘Act’ should never have happened. If anyone hasn’t read it, you should, it’s an easy read.
Dump Fox News, only Fox Business is worthwhile, and if they shed Dobbs, which they will, we have OAN.

Shep is a hack, but its obvious that the only reason he still has a job is that he must give really great blow jobs.

If you can get it, I recommend OAN (One America News) as an alternative to the MSM. They are an old days (boring) national news channel. Remember when most stories just sort of ran and re-ran with some updates as information came in? This is that. Just facts and data.
BUT, they are unabashedly patriotic. It is what I call “pro-America news”.

Victoria Toensig is the lawyer. She said then it would be at least two weeks before he would testify. She was going to away for two weeks (vacation) and he would need at least that much time to pull all his material together.
You would think he already had all his stuff together though, wouldn't you? And if he really does need time to get ready shouldn't his lawyer be involved too? It struck me as funny that she was on Hannity every night for over a week talking like getting the NDA lifted was the most important thing in the world and we had to get him before Congress NOW. Just not important enough for her and Joe to postpone their vacation.

The informant was discussed on Hannity last night. If I recall correctly (can’t guarantee it), he saw what was going on with the Clintons long ago and went to the Feds. They asked him to remain in his position, go under cover, and collect information - which he did. I believe they said he has recordings.
So, it sounds like he is still “a thing”. Personally, I cannot wait until we know what he knows. I hope he lives that long.
Shep’s entitled to his opinion even though he pretends to be a hard news presenter. He’s always been a lib and hasn’t done a lot to hide it. He’s even more emboldened since the Ailes purge by the Murdoch kids. Simply turn him off and wait for Tucker and Hannity. If they’re forced out then it’s time to raise real hell.
