We just don’t have any enthusiasm to vote in more RINOs.

York is a democrat/progressive hell hole.

Basically a little bit of the worst of Philly in the Amish countryside.

York is becoming North Baltimore — complete with the affluent surrounding county.

This was the first chance the democrats had to vote against Trump.
This was the first chance to act on their shock of defeat at the ballot box. Coupled with a simmering anger of GOP voters toward their own party it was not a good combination. Indeed, the GOP got creamed even for dog catcher type elections.

Nothing fixes that like legislative accomplishment.

Right now, sadly, one man and one man alone is to blame for that. Mitch McConnell who can’t get the Senate to vote on anything, even to put the democrats on the record for opposing it.

GOP will lose the House and Senate and, with the help of dems/media, will blame Trump.

Very true. Cowardice amongst GOP at Pa and national levels will allow evil Communists to prevail. Pat Toomey was one of the first on the anti-Moore train. He is pathetic.

It doesn’t help that gas prices are the highest since Trump took office ... but maybe after today that will change ..

What a bunch of Hooey....

Statewide R’s won big, local races were local races, and someone is trying to spin them into something more...

Casey should finally face eviction next year.

The economy is going full steam ahead and the Republicans can’t get their shit together. They deserve to get kicked out.

Dems already lost the runoff Senate election in Lousiana (and I thought there were one or two more) after Trump was elected; at this point people need to see a tangible result of voting for him. Here in NJ we just had a Republican lose to a Democrat for governor, but she wasn’t a Trump supporter (and the state as a whole wasn’t either) - Trump played no role in the race.

This election had nothing to do with Trump or anything national. It had to do with drugs. http://www.pennlive.com/news/2017/10/york_mayors_son_on_leave_from.html

Are you planning to stay home in 2018, or vote for some third party candidate, who has no chance what soever?

Now think about this: If we lose the House and the Senate the House rats will impeach President Trump and the Senate rats will impeach him.

You can count on it.

The NJ race was a repudiation of Chris Christie. A cat in a hat with a “D” by his name was getting elected.

I thought Dems LOST 1,000+ seats all across the board during the 0bamanation? Why the panic?

Here’s a good spot to look up what’s going on in each state for 2018 elections:

https://ballotpedia.org/United_States_Senate_election_in_Wisconsin,_2018

For the first time in FOREVER - CongressLesbian Tammy Baldwin (D, WI) has another Dem contesting her, and three Republicans have thrown their hats in the ring against her, too. I find that encouraging! :)
