Ethanol is worthless, unneeded, and a drain on the budget, land, and your engine. If it cannot stand on its own without a subsidy, then it is worthless and deserves to be abolished. Exactly! There is zero net environmental benefit to adding ethanol made from corn to the fuel in our car gas tanks. Zero.

The article notes that he is now lobbying the Governor to join him in opposing the EPA's ever-increasing mandates for bio-fuel credits. It says, if you'd bother to read it, that it was Ted's stand against biofuel mandates that "caused Iowa Republican Sens. Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley to hit back with a pressure campaign that ultimately got President Trump to ask the EPA not to touch the program."
There is not one Legislator in the US Congress that has done one-tenth what Ted Cruz has done for the cause of Limited Government. Cruz is opposing the EPA and the biofuel mandates here, and it is RINOs Ernst and Grassley who are protecting it. Next time, try reading more than the headline before jumping to your poor conclusions.
