Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that if Alabama's Senate candidate Roy Moore wins, he'll face an ethics investigation immediately after he's sworn into office. "It would be a rather unusual beginning," McConnell said, speaking at a Wall Street Journal event.
"I'd like to save the seat, and it's a heck of a dilemma when you've got a completely unacceptable candidate bearing the label of your party within a month of the election," he added.
McConnell is one of several Republicans who have called for Moore to step aside. He has also spoken with President Trump and Vice President Pence about the allegations against the candidate, but Trump has yet to take a public stance on the issue.

If only the voters in Kentucky would quit putting this jerk back in. The only thing good I can say about Mitch McConnell is that the highways in Kentucky are very nice, and I’m sure that’s due to McConnell bringing home the money.
An ethics investigation would need to have some current accusations and it appears there are none but these 40 year old + Gloria Allred smear. Which puts truth to the lie that is implicit in the Democrat / Media / GOPe manufactured “outrage”. Bob Menendez is accused and still being tried for things that are happening TODAY ... crickets!

What I don’t understand is why Judge Moore isn’t receiving a pass on this. He was a “Democrat” at the time all this “groping” and “harassment” supposedly occurred. He didn’t jump over to the GOP until 1992. Up until 1992, he was a “Democrat”.

How about McConnell resign if Moore wins? Ridiculous to open ethics hearing about new senator. How about investigating current members first?! Start with McConnell, Lyn’ Ted, Menendez, Pelosi, and so many others.
I heard he used a dodgy medical issue to cut short his military service and that’s not fake news. Some needs to dig up the facts, pronto.

I hope that McConnell’s “short” military service is fully exposed. He got out in a matter of a couple of months using a then Senator to spring him for what amounted to a “hangnail.”

It doesn't matter if Moore wins or not. McConnell will use his power to conduct baseless investigations into him. Meaning that Trump's agenda will continue to lay on the backburner.
Face it folks - Donald Trump is a stop-gap. He is providing cover fire for conservatives and patriots who can regroup and prepare for the worst when the Dems take over next year, which they may. So anyone screaming about primarying RINOs next year are delusional. Washington is corrupt, they hate white taxpaying Christian citizens who just want to live their lives, and all grassroot conservative Republicans running next year will be destroyed.

Looks to me like the usual liberal dirty-tricks, pay somebody who rubbed shoulders with him 40 years ago to start spinning all kinds of stories. Somebody saw how Hollywood moguls who invincible 6 months ago being burned to the ground before even being granted a hearing and they decided that this is the way to take out Roy Moore. They’re trying to do a Clarence Thomas on him.
40 years of silence but suddenly 4 women waited until this month to say something. Considering what Bill Klinton is KNOWN to have done going back over 25 years, anybody that voted for any Klinton in any race is disqualified from having any credibility on this.
