If Sessions were to be removed from office, by Trump or to go back into the Senate, is there ANYONE here who thinks the Dems would allow a stronger AG??? I sure wouldn’t want to see Rosenstein move up, because the Left would never support a Conservative and neither would the RINO Senators.

I think it depends about “stronger” relative to what.

Personally, I think a lot of folks who voted for Trump mostly voted against Hillary; FR skews much more towards people who LIKE the Donald, in the real world one can dislike our current President and yet realize that the alternative was suicide. Sessions’ anti Marijuana and particularly his Pro Civil Asset Forfeiture stances are both losing propositions with the public at large, deep state or no.

We could get someone confirmed who was still strong on immigration, which is the biggie.

Since the Senate wouldn't consent to Moore being Attorney General, Trump could appoint him as interim AG until a permanent candidate is found and approved by the Senate to take Session's place.

Then Trump just never gets around to finding a permanent AG and Moore can start going after some Swamp scalps that everyone is hoping for.

It's a little rough around the edges but it's an idea....
