I think I had a ‘78 4dr sedan (V-8, 4-spd) that had rear doors where the internal door release handles could be mechanically disconnected via a lever accessible when those doors were open.
All the Police car versions made always had a disabling device on the rear doors, I have 3 Crown Vic Interceptor
As for Electric Door Lock bypass, they did NOT Exist until the early 80’s
