I'm guessing that the photographer, Eduardo Munoz Alvarez, is affiliated with American Free Press (AFP) and Getty Images.

CNN posted the image on their own Twitter feed.

You are over-thinking this. If it is a setup, it is a fraud of CNN's making for passing off a doctored photo as fake news.

Is that what you are suggesting, because it is not what I'm suggesting. I'm saying that CNN posted the photo without taking a closer look at the details.

If it is a setup of CNN's making, it's a very bad one that's destined to fail and destroy the accusers' credibility. Is that what you're suggesting?
