These people continue to give ‘we the people’ the middle finger. We desperately need term limits on these corrupt b@$t@rds!
I remember being of that bent. Then they put term limits in California. Study it. It is a machine; two terms as a member of the assembly, two terms as a member of the state senate, then onto a permanent seat on one of the many appointed boards or alternately into state office - two terms as Insurance Commissioner then a term as Lt. Governor then onto Governor...
Rather than clean the house, it has infested it with the worst of the worst. A few good guys get in, and in the not so distant future they're termed out and the new rodent comes scurrying in as the good guys don't get on the assembly line.
It has been an unmitigated disaster which has brought us rampant lawlessness throughout the state from elected officials on down to petty criminals and an ever decreasing taxpaying minority who is vilified at every turn.
