I agree. Even if one believes Roy Moore was a Bill Clinton style predator the scenario still makes no sense. A Clinton predator would arrange things in such a way that he had a better chance to score. There was no way he was getting anything in this so-called encounter.
The only way the story could have happened is if he started to take her home and then somehow lost control of his mind and then started pawing at her and somehow forgot about the boyfriend and other patrons driving by his car.
That would require Moore to have a pretty severe problem of some sort. If so, there should be other evidence over decades to show this. Yet we don’t have any of that.
What I don’t get is how this woman could make all this up, subject herself to such publicity and then continue to live with her neighbors in Alabama. This woman is not used to publicity and could barely read her statement.

Well, here’s what I think. As most “stories” go, they morph into more or less than what really happened. Going to the back of the building is a big problem with me, as most people would have left the area to make their move, let alone throwing her out of the car and leaving her where she worked and could get help, or even her boyfriend finding her. So obviously, the other workers in the restaurant saw her leaving with him, they walked out at the same time, she is choked to the point that she has black, blue and purple neck bruises and she says, “no one would believe her”. Ridiculous! So I think, she was a willing participant which is why they were in the back of the restaurant parking lot, and now she can elaborate her story to being assaulted and getting some bucks. Although, the jewelry, especially rings doesn’t look to me like she is financially needy.
